How Isiaka emerged Ogun PDP guber candidate – Hon. Akinlade

One of the governorship aspirants on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Isiaq Abiodun Akinlade, has revealed that the process that saw to the emergence of the party’s candidate in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Isiaka (GNI), nearly destroyed the party.

Hon Akinlade in a press statement titled “Time to set Forth”, revealed that the process has really been tortuous and challenging thereby affecting the organisational structure and internal mechanism of the party.

Hon Akinlade, who is also the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology said “the State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been tested to its very foundation; Our commitment to democratic ethos and party discipline has also been put to test”.

While advising party members to remain focused, Akin­lade said, “We might have been taunted severally but we must not be daunted. We must henceforth stop agonizing about our shortcomings and predicament but get organised for the good and sake of our people. Time to set forth is now!
