Security: Ogun to Install CCTV (Cable Circuit Television) Cameras in Strategic Locations

The Ogun State government has concluded arrangements to install Cable Circuit Television (CCTV) camera in strategic parts of the state to check the security situation, Governor Ibikunle Amosun has said.

The governor, who made the disclosure in Abeokuta, said the installation of the CCTV cameras would complement the already acquired Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) with additional 240 police patrol vehicles to check security challenge in the state.

He called on elders of the state to mobilize, and support the five cardinal programmes of the present administration. Amosun, who listed the cardinal programmes to include education, health, agriculture, industrialisation, infrastructural development, urban renewal and employment generation, assured that the implementation and success of the progammes would bring genuine development to the state.
