Amosun commissions 1st ever flyover bridge in Abeokuta tommorrow

Senator Ibikunle Amosun (FCA)
All roads lead to Ibara Roundabout as all is now set for the commissioning of the first ever overhead bridge in Abeokuta by the state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun (FCA).

The bridge which has been in use since December 2012 when it was completed will be officially declared opened tommorrow Thursday 24, 2012 by the Governor.

When Ogun Today visited the bridge this afternoon, workers were seen putting finishing touches to the spaces under the bridge which has been made a relaxation spot rather than being left for miscreants to occupy and  turn to hideouts and motor pack as such is  the case in some other parts of the country.

The Ogun government said late last year that the total cost of the project was N1.5 billion. This was according to Mr Kayode Ademolake, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, during an oversight visit to the ministry by the House of Assembly Committee on Housing and Infrastructure last year.
