Labour Party Tasks Ogun Government on Education

The Chairman of Labour Party in Ogun State, Comrade Niyi Osoba has said government should take education and people’s welfare as priority to attain the needed development.
He said this while speaking at the stakeholders forum on Peace, Security, Good Governance and Human Rights organised by the Committee for Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), Ogun state branch at NLC Conference Hall, Abiola Way, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He lamented that the government has been neglecting things required of them but urged all and sundry to play their role so that the country can record success.
“When we talk about corruption, all of us should search our minds. We need role models and as far as Nigeria is concerned, we still have a few role models and if there are none we should make ourselves one. We must lay good examples for others coming” he said.
He noted that education should be taken importantly so that the level of insecurity and maladministration can be drastically reduced.
He advised the government to take into cognizance citizens’ welfare by not concentrating on a sector of the economy while others sectors are left to suffer.
