PDP & LP bad losers, says APC

In this report taken from premium times online, the Ogun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party, LP, as bad losers who have decided to close their minds and eyes to the unparalleled transformation in the state under the Ibikunle Amosun administration.
The party, in a statement by its publicity secretary, Sola Lawal, noted that the difference between Labour Party and PDP was like six and half a dozen. APC alleged that the parties were led by those who misruled the state between 2003 and 2011.
The party said it was mischievous, misleading and myopic for the leaders of PDP and LP to claim that the Amosun administration had performed below expectation. It noted that majority of the citizens of the state were happy that the infrastructural facilities, social services and welfare packages, which they never had, were now being put in place by the present administration.
“We make bold to say that whether in the areas of security, infrastructural development, education, industrialisation, promotion of agricultural as a veritable source of employment for the people or institution of welfare programmes, among others, the Amosun administration has justified the mandate given to our party by the good people of our dear state,” the APC said.
It added that while it understood the frustration of PDP and LP leaders who, instead of bringing development to the state, had resorted to foisting a culture of violence on the people, these “failed politicians” should either bury their heads in shame or keep quiet as the people would no longer tolerate their shenanigans.
“If these set of bad losers pretend as if they do not know the sanity and growth that we now witness in the education sector and they cannot see the infrastructural facilities which are daily springing up at their door steps, they should maintain their peace. Our people have no use for those who will plunder the resources of the state and run to Lagos, Abuja and London to hide until it is time for another election when they come around to instigate discord and violence. It is not a surprise that a hitherto comatose opposition in Ogun State has now suddenly woken up to desperately seek relevance now that the nation is approaching another election period, even if the endeavour is only meant to persuade their sponsors to release more funds,” APC said.
