Mimiko’s Return To PDP

I knew it was only a matter of time before the Ondo State governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, returns to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

 Dr Mimiko has always been a believer in national politics, and there is no better way to operate than being in the PDP.

With this development, the state would benefit more from the Federal Government.

Now that Dr Mimiko has joined the ruling party, there is the need for him to support the other state chapters towards the 2015 election.

The PDP should be able to claim Lagos, as well as reclaim Oyo and Ogun States.

The South West needs to be in the mainstream of Nigeria’s politics. This is the only way we can benefit from the federal government.

Dr Mimiko should, therefore, not waste time in bringing his political movement in the Labour Party into the PDP for the political tasks that lie ahead.
