Ogun APC chairman loses wife in auto crash

The Ogun State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Roqeeb Adeniji, lost his wife, Deaconess Rachael Adeniji, in a ghastly motor accident on Tuesday evening on Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway.

The chairman’s wife lost her life while returning from Ifo Local Government, where Governor Ibikunle Amosun had gone on assessment tour of the council area.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that the incident occurred at Akinale, Wasinmi, few kilometers from Abeokuta, when her Toyota car somersaulted several times.

Mrs Adeniji, aged 58, died on the spot while her remains had been deposited at the mortuary of the State Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta,

Meanwhile, Governor Amosun had paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased.
